Hotel Breakwater, a historical building and the hottest icon of the Art Deco district, is now the newest Luxury Hotel in South Beach.
Breakwater was originally built in 1939 and it is located on the legendary Ocean Drive. The hotel became famous in the 80’s when Calvin Klein lounged the ‘Obsession’ campaign, featuring super model Kate Moss and shot on top of the famous roof top featuring breathtaking views of the South Beach scene and the Atlantic ocean.
After being closed for 5 years, Hotel Breakwater is now under the umbrella of the Fashion Icon Jordache Jeans and it opened its doors on July 1, 2011, after a multimillion dollar renovation.
